Kaashvi Hiranandani, girlfriend of Bigg Boss 20 contestant ScoutOP, issued a public apology on October 26, 2026, after facing backlash for her remarks about Love Gill during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The apology came a day after Love Gill broke down inside the house and accused ScoutOP of spoiling her career.
Kaashvi admitted that some of her words were insensitive and that she could have expressed herself better. She posted the apology on her Instagram story.
Kaashvi’s Apology in Full
Kaashvi wrote, ‘My intention was to address Scout, call out the mistakes I felt he had made, and hold him accountable for his actions. However, in doing so, I realise that some of the words I used were insensitive towards other people involved.’
She continued, ‘Regardless of what I was feeling at the time, it is not my place to pass judgements on someone else’s intentions or character, and I could have expressed myself better.’
Kaashvi further stated that she never intended to encourage hostility toward Love. She wrote, ‘I never intended to direct hate towards another woman or encourage anyone to target her. I understand that my words carry weight, and I take responsibility for how they may have come across.’
Addressing the online commentary that influenced her, Kaashvi said, ‘Watching all the ‘She knows what she’s doing’, ‘It’s her strategy’ content clouded my emotions, but I should have known better.’
She concluded, ‘It’s not my place to tell her anything. I recognise that and truly apologise to everyone I’ve hurt.’
Love Gill’s Emotional Confrontation with ScoutOP
The apology followed a heated confrontation between Love Gill and ScoutOP inside the house. On October 26, Love broke down in tears and told ScoutOP that his girlfriend’s remarks had damaged her reputation and career.
Love told ScoutOP, ‘I can no longer face anyone; you have completely shattered my reputation. What will people say about me when they find out? And what is already out there on social media can never be erased. You have just spoiled my whole career.’
She also questioned why ScoutOP did not defend her when Kaashvi accused her of trapping him. Love said, ‘Jab woh bol rahi thi, tumhaari girlfriend, ki trap fasa rahi tab tune us cheez ko clarity kyu nahi di?’
Love further accused ScoutOP of discussing his feelings for her with fellow contestant Yung DSA, which she said contributed to the perception that ruined her image.
Indirect Reference to Gurpreet Ghuggi Controversy
During the confrontation, Love spoke about a difficult phase in her life without naming the controversy directly. She said, ‘Maine pehle bhi bataya hai, main bahut mushkil se nikli hoon. Main ek mahine pehle in sab cheezon se bahar nikal ke aayi hoon.’
Her remarks sparked speculation that she was referring to the controversy involving Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi. A Canada-based YouTuber had alleged that Love and Ghuggi, who shared screen space in the film Furlow, were in a relationship and that Love had become pregnant.
The YouTuber also claimed that a Rs 5 crore settlement was made to keep the matter private. Ghuggi dismissed the allegations as ‘completely false and fabricated,’ and Love also denied the rumours.
Weekend Ka Vaar Backdrop
The controversy began during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode when Kaashvi appeared on stage and confronted ScoutOP, whose real name is Tanmay Singh, over his physical closeness with Love. She sarcastically asked him, ‘How is the massage parlour going, Tanmay?’
Kaashvi also accused Love of trapping Scout, saying, ‘Usne aapko phasaya hai aur aap phas gaye.’ She claimed that Scout’s fanbase ‘despises’ Love and that Love had emotionally manipulated him for her game.
Host Rohit Shetty also addressed the bond between ScoutOP and Love. He said, ‘When he is massaging your feet, hands and neck, Love, it does not look right. You ask Scout to massage you from behind and he massages your calves. It is not looking good at all.’
ScoutOP’s Team Responds
ScoutOP’s team issued a statement defending him against Love’s career allegation. The statement said, ‘To suggest that someone who has consistently supported others with honesty and loyalty could intentionally harm another person’s career is an extremely serious allegation.’
The team added, ‘Anyone who truly knows Scout knows that this is simply not the person he is.’
Current Status
ScoutOP told Love that he would work on setting boundaries so that she is not hurt by how their interactions are perceived. He said, ‘Main boundaries set karunga jisse aapko hurt na ho. Main isse zyada kya kar sakta hoon? Bahar nikaal do show se.’
