Avinash Mishra won Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 on October 4, 2026, defeating Rithvik Dhanjani and Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, in the grand finale. Mishra took home the winner’s trophy, Rs 20 lakh in prize money, a trip to Europe, and a new car.

The finale aired on Colors TV at 9 pm IST and streamed simultaneously on JioHotstar. The two-part finale began on October 3 with the elimination of Harsh Gujral and Rubina Dilaik, leaving five finalists to compete for the title.

The five finalists were Avinash Mishra, Farrhana Bhatt, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, and Orry. Rithvik Dhanjani finished as the first runner-up, while Orry was the second runner-up.

Finale Stunt and Winner Announcement

In the final task, the top three contestants faced the season’s biggest challenges, including a high-octane helicopter-to-water stunt. Mishra completed the finale stunt in less time than his competitors to secure the win.

Host Rohit Shetty announced Mishra’s name as the winner. Mishra broke down in tears and hugged the host after the announcement. His best friend and Bigg Boss 18 contestant, Eisha Singh, was present at the finale and became emotional after his name was called.

Mishra said he had never won anything in the past 10 years and that this was the first reality show he had won in his life. Rohit Shetty praised Mishra’s performance and reminded him that he had always been finalist material.

Prize Details and Winner’s Statement

Along with the trophy, Mishra received Rs 20 lakh in cash, a trip to Europe, and a Maruti Suzuki Swift. Every contestant who participated in the season was also given a bike.

Mishra said in a statement, ‘Winning Khatron Ke Khiladi feels special because I thought I signed up for the show with a point to prove, but along the way, the person I ended up proving it to, was myself. I have spent years being associated with television and, yes, with being the good-looking guy on screen. I enjoyed that journey, but I also knew there was so much more I wanted people to see in me. This show gave me the chance to put everything else aside and literally let my actions speak.’

He added, ‘Most of this journey was actually about the mind. You can prepare yourself physically, but when you are standing at the edge of something terrifying, there is no performance left – it is just you, your fear and the decision you make in that moment. I had to learn to tune out the noise, trust myself, and keep going. There were days when I surprised myself, and those are the moments I will cherish. And to win the show after everything I have discovered about myself here is the kind of ending I could only have hoped for. I came to Khatron Ke Khiladi wanting to test myself; I am leaving with a belief in myself that I didn’t have before. That, for me, is the biggest victory.’

Mishra also shared his winning moment on Instagram. He wrote, ’10 years of the journey. 10 years of showing up. And today, I finally hold my first trophy. Maybe the real victory was never giving up on myself.’

Season Format and Contestants

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 returned after a two-year break and was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa. The season premiered on August 1 with 13 contestants.

The season introduced a ‘Champions vs Challengers’ format, bringing seasoned Khatron Ke Khiladi contestants face-to-face with a new crop of challengers. The theme was ‘Darr Ka Naya Daur.’

The original line-up included Rubina Dilaik, Avinash Mishra, Farrhana Bhatt, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Harsh Gujral, Orry, Ruhanika Dhawan, Jasmin Bhasin, Gaurav Khanna, Vishal Aditya Singh, Shagun Sharma, and Avika Gor. Vishal Aditya Singh and Gaurav Khanna later returned as wildcard contestants.

Mishra did not abort a single task throughout the season and won the Swift Immunity Jacket. The jacket gave him the power to either save a contestant from elimination or opt out of performing a task. His turning point came during an underwater stunt against Karan Wahi, which secured his place in the Top 5 as the season’s first finalist.

The finale also determined the first and second runner-up positions. Rithvik Dhanjani finished as the first runner-up, and Orry finished as the second runner-up.
