Bigg Boss 20 contestant Love Gill broke down emotionally during a recent episode, indirectly referencing her past controversy with Punjabi actor Gurpreet Ghuggi while confronting fellow housemate ScoutOP. The confrontation followed ScoutOP’s girlfriend Kaashvi Hiranandani’s appearance on Weekend Ka Vaar, where she accused Gill of trapping and manipulating ScoutOP.
Gill told ScoutOP that his girlfriend’s remarks had damaged her public image and that he had failed to defend her. She also blamed him for discussing their bond with fellow contestant Yung DSA, which she said contributed to the perception that spoiled her career.
Gill Recalls Difficult Phase
During the conversation, Gill spoke about a difficult period in her life without naming the controversy directly. She said, “Maine pehle bhi bataya hai, main bahut mushkil se nikli hoon. Main ek mahine pehle in sab cheezon se bahar nikal ke aayi hoon.” (I have mentioned this before, I have been through a very difficult time. I emerged from all of this a month ago.)
Her remarks sparked speculation that she was referring to the controversy involving Gurpreet Ghuggi, her co-star in the Punjabi film Furlow. The controversy began after a Canada-based YouTuber alleged that Gill and Ghuggi were in a relationship and that Gill had become pregnant. The YouTuber also claimed that a Rs 5 crore settlement was made to keep the matter private.
Ghuggi dismissed the allegations as “completely false and fabricated.” Gill also denied the rumours. In May 2026, she addressed the online trolling in an Instagram Story, asking those who kept questioning her about Ghuggi to reach out to him directly.
Confrontation With ScoutOP
Gill questioned ScoutOP for not clarifying the situation when Kaashvi accused her of trapping him. She said, “Jab woh bol rahi thi, tumhaari girlfriend, ki trap fasa rahi tab tune us cheez ko clarity kyu nahi di?” (When your girlfriend was saying that she was setting a trap, why didn’t you provide any clarity on the matter?)
She also accused ScoutOP of ruining her career by discussing his feelings for her with Yung DSA. She told him, “Mere character ki tune dhajjiya uda di hai. Bahar ja ke kya bolenge log mere bare mein, jo chize hongi vo erase nahi hogi social media se. You just spoiled my whole career.” (You have completely shattered my reputation. What will people say about me when they find out? And what’s already out there on social media can never be erased. You just spoiled my whole career.)
Gill added, “I will survive like a dead body,” and said people would now identify her as the person Kaashvi had accused.
ScoutOP’s Team Responds
ScoutOP’s team issued a statement defending him against Gill’s allegations. The statement said, “Those who have known and followed Scout over the years know exactly the kind of person he is, kind, genuine, and pure-hearted. At no point did he have any wrong intention. The bond he shared was one he always saw as that of a brother and sister.”
The statement also addressed Kaashvi’s intention behind her visit. It read, “That is precisely why Kaashvi chose to meet him. She knows Scout’s heart better than anyone. Her intention was not to question his character, but to make him understand the seriousness of how the situation was being perceived outside.”
Responding to Gill’s career allegation, the statement said, “What is especially disheartening is how quickly the dynamics changed with someone Scout has always stood by unconditionally. To suggest that someone who has consistently supported others with honesty and loyalty could intentionally harm another person’s career is an extremely serious allegation.”
Weekend Ka Vaar Backdrop
The confrontation stemmed from the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, where host Rohit Shetty and Kaashvi Hiranandani called out Gill and ScoutOP for their closeness inside the house. Kaashvi questioned their physical proximity, including instances where ScoutOP massaged Gill’s feet and hands.
Kaashvi asked Gill whether she behaved similarly with her own brothers. She also told ScoutOP that his behaviour made her feel “disgusted” and instructed him to cut Gill out of his life. Kaashvi claimed that ScoutOP’s fanbase outside the house “despises” Gill and that Gill had emotionally manipulated him for her game.
Rohit Shetty also addressed the bond, saying, “When he is massaging your feet, hands and neck, Love, it does not look right. You ask Scout to massage you from behind and he massages your calves. It is not looking good at all.”
Current Status
ScoutOP told Gill he would work on setting boundaries so that she is not hurt by how their interactions are perceived. He said, “Cheezein jo bahar dikh rahi thi, uspar main work karunga. Main boundaries set karunga jisse aapko hurt na ho. Main isse zyada kya kar sakta hoon? Bahar nikaal do show se.” (I will work on what was being perceived outside. I will set boundaries so that you are not hurt. What more can I do? Take me out of the show.)
